Sharon serves as CEO and Marketing Director of Frill Clothing. The inspiration for Frill emerged from Sharon being forced by her sorority to buy expensive and unflattering clothing for sorority recruitment. Sharon and her business partner were challenged to fix this problem! Now Frill dresses sororities across the nation. In 2013, one of Frill's pictures became viral on social media. This popular picture led Frill into launching a bridal division and dressing bridesmaids all over the globe. Frill's current expansion plans are everyday wear, graphic tees, and home & dorm.
Sharon is a proud graduate of the College of Textiles at NC State University with a degree in Fashion and Textile Management. As a junior at NC State, she formed Frill with an Appalachian State student with only $250 (and Sharon had only $350 in her bank account!).
Sharon inspires many crowds of all ages and backgrounds with her entrepreneurial story. She speaks about starting a business with only a few hundred dollars and the struggles of being a college entrepreneur. Sharon is able to teach and motivate people to jump start and grow any business.
Frill Clothing designs and produces sorority recruitment clothing for sororities all over the country and the world. Frill is the One Stop Sorority Shop! Frill also sells clothing and accessories to women who are not affiliated with a sorority.
