Becca Brown is the Cofounder of Solemates, the first shoe care brand created specifically for women who love shoes, by women who love shoes. Known for their flagship line, the Solemates High Heeler—a patented heel cap that prevents high heels from sinking into grass and getting stuck in cracks—Solemates is an innovative brand that marries the concepts of beauty and practicality. Solemates are carried in thousands of locations all around the world including DSW, David's Bridal, Town Shoes, and Nordstrom. Solemates were featured on Shark Tank (Season 8, Episode 4) and in numerous media outlets including The Today Show, People Magazine, and The New York Times Style Section. Celebrity customers include Carrie Underwood, Demi Lovato, Oprah Winfrey, Lauren Conrad, Viola Davis, and Gayle King.
Prior to launching Solemates, Becca worked at Goldman Sachs in New York and London. Becca has been interviewed and quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Business Insider, and Forbes.
Becca graduated from Harvard College with a degree in English and was a four-year Varsity Lacrosse player. She obtained her MBA from Columbia Business School and is originally from the Philadelphia area. In her spare time, Becca enjoys cycling, track motorcycle riding, and playing golf. Becca lives in Manhattan.
