She has been on both sides of the recruiting process as a hiring executive and major search firm managing director. Before entering the search industry, Kim was Executive Vice President at First Data Corporation, rising through the ranks from an entry-level call center position to become the youngest person to serve on the company's Leadership Team where overseeing its $2 billion card division and 8,000 employees. Her career transition to search began as Managing Director with Korn/Ferry International followed by Vice Chair of a national executive search firm. In 2009 she left to found Kim Bishop Executive Search.
