David Bohrman continues to be one of the most innovative, experienced and respected TV journalists and executive leaders after more than 30 years in the business. As CNN's Washington Bureau Chief, he was named one of Washingtonian Magazine's 50 Most Influential and Powerful Journalists in DC, and one of Fast Company's 100 Most Creative People in Business in the World in 2011. Bohrman created the YouTube Debates in the 2008 Political Campaign, along with producing more than a dozen presidential debates from 2003-2008. He has acted as key producer for election coverage since the 1980's at ABC News and again at NBC News in the 1990's. At CNN, Bohrman was the executive in charge of producing many election nights, including in 2008, which was seen worldwide and beat all other television organizations (both broadcast and cable) in ratings the night Barack Obama was elected President. During his career as Producer, Executive Producer and Senior Management at ABC News, NBC News, CNNfn, CNN. Pseudo.com and Current TV Bohrman was at at the forefront of leading major media coverage of the most important events of our time, and developed a global reputation as an innovator in production, new media and journalism approaches and technologies. Along with being a judge at the 2016 South-by-Southwest Accelerator Contest, he has two US patents, and is the winner of 6 Emmy awards and 18 Emmy nominations along with two Peabody Awards, and was the recipient of the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism Alumni Award in 2014.
