Bob is an accomplished facilitator, and designer of learning experiences for large and small groups. His approach combines meticulous planning, a willingness to improvise, and a deep understanding of business. Bob brings to his work with Geniecast over two decades of executive education, consulting, and senior management experience including leadership roles at Young Presidents Organization (Chief Education Officer), Harvard Business School (Managing Director, Custom Executive Education), Babson College (Associate Dean), and MIT Sloan School of Management (Executive Director of Executive Education). Based on his experience at YPO, Bob co-founded Alumni Forum Services to offer the benefit of Forum to HBS alumni and other executive groups. Bob has also facilitated leadership development programs with Harvard Business Publishing, MIT Sloan School's Innovation Period, and Wharton Executive Education. He is a Research Affiliate (and former Executive Director) at MIT's Center for Collective Intelligence, and has been a featured expert on the Harvard Business Review Management Channel on “The Power of Peer Support Groups." Bob has been widely recognized as an educational entrepreneur for his leadership roles in launching the MIT Series on Management & Technology and HBS's Nonprofit Management Fellowships. Bob received his MBA from Harvard Business School, and was chosen as an Eisenhower Fellow in recognition of his accomplishments as a rising mid-career American leader.

In this 1 hour virtual session, Bob builds on the ancient tradition of ethical wills to help successful executives wrestle with these questions:

• I’ve done very well, but what now? What legacy do I wish to leave my children and grandchildren?
• How do I go about the daunting task of sharing my non-material and non-financial assets with loved ones?
• How can I support others in this process, living more purposefully today, while sharing my stories with those who will come after me?

A series of exercises to explore each person’s unique leadership legacy will be used. The reflection process helps executives think deeply about how they want to live and lead today, as well as share thier stories with future generations. Additional resources allow for continued exploration after the session.
