Frederick Schjang is a nationally recognized Fitness educator and innovator who specializes in the Feldenkrais® Method, Pilates and Flexibility Training. Schjang leads group classes, maintains a private practice and mentors other instructors in the field. His annual Feldenkrais Festival has become a must-attend event for fitness enthusiasts. Schjang develops fitness programs for Equinox, Equinox Sports Club and New York City Parks Department. He writes a regular column for the Epoch Times and is also a Guest Fitness Instructor for Norwegian Cruise Line. His Pilates Fusion class for Equinox was selected as "One of the Top Five Classes in New York City" by Time Out New York. As an educator, Schjang teaches in NYU's Physical Therapy Doctorate Program and he is currently the Guild Representative for the New York Region of Feldenkrais Practitioners. Schjang is widely recognized for his engaging and accessible style of teaching for both the general public and fitness/wellness professionals.

Most of us will experience back pain at some point in our lives. In this workshop done in street clothes at your nail learn strategies to sit more comfortably and transition from seated to standing effortlessly.

The program is done in chairs and in street clothes and anyone who can travel from home to the office can do it regardless of fitness level. In this workshop you will learn to depend on your skeleton to move in Gravity instead of feeling that they drag their weight around.

Many students report that they move more freely in space and that annoying pains and discomforts disappear!
