For the past 10 years Mr. James LauBach has specialized in speaking about employment law issues. Employment laws are here to stay and he believes that an organization must understand, learn, apply and avoid lawsuits wherever and whenever possible. It is certainly less expensive to train and develop managers in their knowledge and purpose of employment laws than it is to defend violations in courts.

Mr. LauBach (Jim) has 30 years experience working in and with corporations, organizations, non-profits and municipalities. He is a management specialist and professional speaker.

LauBach has developed and managed training programs his entire corporate career. His knowledge, research and development of people strategies, leads clients to the successful realization of an individual's competence in the work place. His unique and successful approach is to focus on the leadership of the organization. “It is easy,” he says, “to hypothecate about the values of an organization but there must be buy-in by the employees of the organization.” The development of a dynamic corporate training program requires great leadership and knowledge of all issues. That is the focus of his attention and training. Training programs are a must in today's environment.After serving 4 years in the US Navy and earning a Juris doctorate, Mr. LauBach joined a fortune 100 company. He defended labor relations (NLRB) charges and handled employment relation issues.

This is a 1 hour Cast containing 45 minutes and 15 minutes of question and answer. The program discusses the how and when to investigate a complaint of sexual harassment. It uses a policy and procedure to identify the needs of the organization. It reviews what the courts are looking for when a case gets filed and what are the employers key defenses. And finally it walks the participants through an investigation. The course has a work book and quiz to assess the retention of the information by the participant.
