Jonathan Kaufman has been an innovative thought leader, business educator, and strategist who recognizes the impact of personal development on organizational growth.

Born with Cerebral Palsy, Jonathan Kaufman’s disability has been a profound part of his personal, academic and professional life. Whether hiking in the Ecuadorian highlands with his family, skiing down a mountain or repelling down the side of a cliff in the Middle East, to the simplicity of tying his own shoes one handed, he has pushed the idea that anything is possible if given the will.

He continued his graduate work in the social sciences at the University of Chicago studying Psychiatric Social Work/Human Development and Public Policy, and then attended Columbia University studying Applied Anthropology with an emphasis on the culture of work for the 21st century.

As an executive coach, consultant, and licensed psychotherapist Kaufman seeks to develop new strategies and initiatives by synthesizing ideas from management theories and applications to entrepreneurial thinking to the knowledge of human capital by cultivating increased motivation and skills to achieve greater success both personally and professionally. How Understanding the New Government Regulations Can Impact The Growth of Your Business (Primary Edition)

Jonathan Kaufman

In 2011 The US Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) proposed a new rule that “would require federal contractors and subcontractors to set a hiring goal of having 7 percent of their workforce’s be people with disabilities/veterans among other requirements.”

While this new proposed rule has been the most aggressive civil rights of workers since the passing of the Americans with Disabilities Act in 1990 it continues to send shockwaves throughout the national business community.

As the US Department of Labor pushes forward with this rule the fundamental questions for your organization are:
· Is Your Business Ready?
· If not, what can we do to make ourselves more prepared?
· What are the key areas of knowledge that we need to know for us to be prepared and stay competitive for the passing of this new rule?
· How can we as an organization evaluate/ build disability confidence to make sure we are reaching the 7% quota moving forward.

Jonathan Kaufman is offering an OFFCP Bootcamp as a new service to help member companies be more equipped and prepared to tackle the daily rigors of this impending rule.

This boot camp will provide participants even greater value by both preparing and offering company’s options of how to meet these new regulations head on and develop their own customized methodology to handle this new rule that impacts areas from talent development, retention and beyond.
