Creating Healthy Learning Environments
It is known that both air and energy environmental toxins can impact our health, but they also affect our ability to learn. This presentation discusses several toxins that are often present in classrooms and how to reduce their impact. With the increasing prevalence of asthma, allergies, ADHD and autism, teachers and parents need to know how to identify and remove these toxins to create a non-toxic learning environment. We’ll cover indoor air, healthy lunches, healthy clothing, plastics, non-toxic pest control and healthy hand sanitizing options.
