Jody Dharmawan started his career in Indonesia after spending 20 years of his life in Hong Kong and the UK. He started his career after graduating from University College London in a garment manufacturing company. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to start a new business unit in the lower stream of the industry when he was 23. Within 4 years he merged all the business units and listed the company at the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
During the 1998 Asian Economic Crisis, Jody took the lead to restructure the company's USD 150 million debt.
He is the owner of Lee Cooper Indonesia with a retail and distributing network of over 250 doors selling jeanswear throughout Indonesia.
